About Us

Peter Rogers founded his wedding photography business in Stafford in 1947 and it is still a family firm, run by his son Anthony. Now seven decades later Peter would be staggered at how the whole industry has changed during the last few years and would be simply amazed that such high quality images can be produced instantly and at affordable prices.

Here at Peter Rogers Photographic our experienced staff are more than enthusiastic about this ever advancing technical world and we greatly enjoy our diverse work – whether it is capturing those all too precious moments of a wedding day, gaining the trust of a portrait sitter (whatever the age!) or working in the increasingly demanding world of commercial advertising.

Our Photographers

Anthony Rogers has been involved in wedding photography since leaving school when he then attended Wednesbury College of Photography. He took over the Stafford based business in the mid eighties and now heads up a team of talented creative professionals who care passionately about the high standard of service they strive to offer customers. “We now almost exclusively use digital cameras which means we can operate in any conditions – whether it is unobtrusively in a semi-dark church or in our own studio where the lighting can be controlled to the ultimate degree,” says Anthony, who is a member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers.

Most Saturday’s David Wakefield can be found out covering weddings for couples who want the best possible pictures of their big day. “Choosing the right wedding photographer is crucial – after all you can’t do it again if something goes wrong with the camera,” says David who joined Peter Rogers Photographic Ltd over 25 years ago and greatly enjoys the challenge of getting just the right wedding picture. “You know it’s going to be the image that will be on peoples’ mantelpieces or in the family album for years to come so it really has to capture exactly that magical moment of the day. I never tire of the thrill of it!”
